ABOUT THE ARTIST

A little bit about me... 

I grew up in country Victoria. I was always surrounded by stunning outback landscapes, I moved to the “the big city” Melbourne in my teens, everything about the city was new to me, it was bright, fun, inviting and scary all at the same time. I fell completely in-love with the city vibe.

That feeling remains one of my biggest inspirations in my artwork, creating bright colourful pieces that hopefully inspire and allow others to get excited about life, be intrigued about new adventures, and see the world in happy, colourful way.

Now I have my own family and we live in the Yarra Ranges, I have the best of both worlds… close to the busy city world and the country is only a hop skip and jump away. Inspiration is around every corner.

When I start a new piece of artwork, I always have a vision and plan in mind however my art is created very much like life and very rarely finishes the way I planned, I start seeing shapes and colours differently and enjoy the process of change, the outcome always surprises me.
